  The BIOS itself won't see more than 8GB under DOS/Windows9x.  Linux and other
OSs can get away with it by directly quereing the HD.

  You'll have to test that.  Depends entirely on how the BIOS is mapping the
drive sectors and such and whether Linux is smart enough to work its way around
the Windows partitions.
