I've been running an L50 for a couple of years now, as my only portable,
and liking it a lot, but it's starting to show it's age.
I am concerned over the lack of a parallel port, but that may be solvable
through PCMCIA.
I currently use the L50 to program microcontrollers through it's parallel
port.
In my normal config, it's linked to the network with a 10BT card, with
serial and parallel in use.
I haven't completely outgrown it, but it's not that far away.
I'd like to stick with the smaller machines.
How much larger is the L1 than the '50?
Is the 2 hour life the max with batteries? That seems a step backward,
given that the 50 will go to 4 hours.
