Well, mine works fine on a Dell C600 laptop with win2k, but on the L100 with
98SE it would not initialize properly. I even tried to forcefully tell it to
use the same HW settings as the Dell used (IRQ 10 and base addr DF70, but it
still would not initilize). I took out the config utility from startup, too,
but that did not help.
When the computer boots up, instead of the successful PCMCIA sound I get the
low warning beep of a PCMCIA failure, and the thing would not init.
I run the latest BIOS for the L100. What HW settings do you guys use that
have the Dlink card running ?

Mine works fine from day one. I'm running Win2kPro if that makes any
difference. The Config utility is a crash heaven especially when you resume
from standby. I removed it from my startup group shortly after the
installation. Once configuration is done, I don't see why I need it anymore.
The only useful of Config is to minitor the signal strength but as many
people already found out the signal strength indicator is very inaccurate.
So why bother?
