Subject: Bad 70CT MB component?

I did try changing "external/internal" to "simultaneous" to see if it would
make a difference, but no luck. You know how sometimes just changing a
setting, and then setting it back again puts things back to working order...
but alas, not this time. That blinking screen is a bad omen me thinks.

Yeah.... at least I'll be to use the system hooked up to an external monitor
for the time being.

Didn't you say that the fluorescent bulbs and the driver circuit are located
in the case lid with the LCD? Since I put the 70CT lid with the LCD I
thought was bad on the 50CT and found that it worked... and since the
working 50CT LCD lid with its bulbs and circuit board doesn't want to work
on the 70CT... doesn't this establish that the two lids with their LDS,
bulbs, and circuits are okay, and that my problem on the 70CT is most likely
with a bad MB component?

:-p or... 'We're sending off your bad credit off to TRW if we don't hear
from you in 72 hours... oops.... too late...'
