I can't say I know if the Libretto can or can't handle the extra RAM but I wonder if 
its possible to add RAM through the PCMCIA port (like you could the older 386/486 
laptops). Alternatively, perhaps a fast ATA RAM card can be put in the PCMCIA slot 
(which would look like a hard drive to Windows) and the swapfile moved over to it (but 
then again I've got no idea how fast those ATA cards are compared to the internal hard 
drive ...)
