NOT a good move unless you partitioned it in the Libby first (and didn't reformat it
once it was in the PC) ... remember, if the Libby hibernates it'll overwrite the last
32-odd meg of the hard drive irrespective of how its partitioned.

Generally pulling a laptop apart shouldn't stop it from getting through the BIOS - it
should at the very least complain about no OS (if the hard drive was formatted
incorrectly). As far as I know Toshibas only store hibernation info on the hard drive
(not like early Compaqs which stored the BIOS info there as well). Things that *might*
cause this include disturbing the RTC/CMOS battery and/or shorted the power rails
whilst you were inside (and dischrged the RTC/CMOS battery) however in my experience
with other Toshiba laptops even that won't halt it without telling you why.
Alternatively, you may have left a connector slightly loose or out of alignment (dunno
about you but that monitor connector on the right hand side looks REALLY flimsy to
me). If you have a RAM expansion board inside you may wish to make sure that hasn't
been misseated and that the pins on it haven't been bent. You might wish to open it up
again and double check all the connectors, make sure they're seated correctly. Also
make sure something silly hasn't happened like leaving a screw sitting loose inside
it, which could easily short things out (I know it sounds dumb but we've all done
things like that).

Good luck!
