I'm having a problem with my new install of Redhat 7.2 on my 30 Gb drive. The libretto is set up to dual boot Win 98 and RedHat 7.2. My partition info is /tmp/hda1 1 1012 Win95FAT32 /tmp/hda2 1013 1017 Linux (boot) /tmp/hda3 1029 1045 Linux swap /tmp/hda4 1046 3648 Extended /tmp/hda5 1046 2347 Linux /tmp/hda6 2348 3648 Win95FAT32 I would like to mount the Win95 FAT32 partions in R.H. so I place the following lines in fstab. /dev/hda1 /dosc vfat defaults 0 0 /dev/hda6 /dosd vfat defaults 0 0 /dosc mounts ok /dosd gives the error mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda6, or too many mounted file systems I know this is not really a Libretto question, but I spent alot of time on it and thought it might have something to do with my partitioning layout. Can you have a linux and a windows partition in an extended partition? regards, Perry ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------TO UNSUBSCRIBE------- Reply to any of the list messages.
