Windows98 on my Lib100 has started to freeze up, on execution of simple tasks. I am not technical, I do not know how to delve any further. I've tried using regclean to no avail. The freeze-up is occurring earlier in operation with every subsequent reboot. It's a big problem. There aren't too many important files on the system. If I were going to wipe the hard disk and reinstall Win98, how do I then install the lib specific aspects of the operating system. Also, I do not own a win98 CD. If the installed win98 "code number/ID" is different to the CDRom's, does this cause any problems. Lastly, can anyone reccommend a program for Outlook Express and Internet Explorer back-up. ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------TO UNSUBSCRIBE------- Reply to any of the list messages.
