My suggestion may seem a little strange, but I will suggest to get rid
of that automatic footer to every mail to the list. Obviously its not
serving its purpose so well. Why? Some kinky "information
overflow"-thing, I guess. The footers main function seem to be to beef
up the mails since people not always are so good at snipping quotes.
The footer can be replaced by a daily message from the list
administrator with the subject "How to unsubscibe" or something, n'est
ce pas?
