Ref what I said about that assuming that 1: People are using a HTML compliant reader 
and 2: That if necessary people have set it up correctly. Given that we can't even 
assume people can SEE a colon (and it DOES show up in all character sets - its a 
standard character) I'm not sure we can make the 2 assumptions I've made above.

I think it might well be easier for a couple of frequent readers to have rights to the 
mail list itself then when they see obvious unsubsribe requests to just manually 
remove them (after sending the attempted unsubscriber a suitably sarcastic message of 
course ;-) ... there can't be THAT many unsubscribe requests per week after all, can 
there?
