I can in fact see the usefulness of the marker there Raymond.  Most of the 
time it'll work dandy.  Once in a while it'll spill off the right side of 
some email reader's subject field... but that's not a huge deal.

What is a challenge is when you go to, say the Compuserve Photography Forum 
and post a message.  The Compuserve only let's you enter 20-25 characters 
for a subject.  One place among others where too many characters poses more 
minor inconveniences.
