How much audio quality can you have in a car stereo? One would have thought that the 
signal straight out of the Libby, passed through a half-decent amp would have been 
sufficient ... your only sticking point (as mentioned earlier) would be power supply 
noise but you'd get the same problem with a PCMCIA card as it would be running off the 
same power rail ...

On a separate note, does anyone know what audio chip is used in the Libretto 50CT 
and/or where I might find details of the sound subsystem? The chip itself seems to 
support audio input (even Windows recons it can) though there is no microphone or 
external line input on the 50CT. I'm wondering if it might be possible to rig up 
something to get sound into it somehow ...
