Since I am going to be using my >libretto as my car stereo I need an upgrade in sound quality. How much audio quality can you have in a car stereo? One would have thought that the signal straight out of the Libby, passed through a half-decent amp would have been sufficient ... your only sticking point (as mentioned earlier) would be power supply noise but you'd get the same problem with a PCMCIA card as it would be running off the same power rail ... On a separate note, does anyone know what audio chip is used in the Libretto 50CT and/or where I might find details of the sound subsystem? The chip itself seems to support audio input (even Windows recons it can) though there is no microphone or external line input on the 50CT. I'm wondering if it might be possible to rig up something to get sound into it somehow ... - Raymond ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------TO UNSUBSCRIBE------- Reply to any of the list messages.
