turn off the auto-update checks in the preferences. other than that, any web browser that is configured to use ww will ask ww to access the net on its behalf. thus,any firewall monitor will see ww asking for permission to access the web. here, with zonealarm and ww, only time I see zonealarm go active is when ww is accessing the web when I'm on it. otherwise, dead line. (unless zonealarm isn't catching everything it should be doing..) I'm using 3.0 right now - who knows what they've put into the latest beta's.
