I'm > writing EZ-Drive 9.09W will work with any desktop or laptop system and HD made today. It installs 9.06 of EZ-BIOS (just one version behind the latest; latest adds never-needed support for Ultra-IDE PCI cards). (Later versions are locked to prevent use on other HD brands. Maxtor's MaxBlast ? is unlocked, and appears to work, but installs an unknown version of EZ-BIOS so I'd avoid this vs. the EZ-Drive 9.09W.) Download a copy now! just in case - you never know when it'll become handy and disappear from the Net. http://www.vobis.de/bbs/firmen/wd/hrddrive/ http://www.vobis.de/bbs/firmen/wd/hrddrive/ezdrive9.exe v.9.09W This utility is used to partition and format WD Caviar hard drives on machines that do not provide support for larger drives. This version of EZ Drive is self- booting. To create the installation diskette, download this file to an empty directory on your hard drive and execute the file from the drive. Insert a blank 3.5" floppy diskette and follow the screen instructions. This will create the installation diskette that can then be used to setup your drive. EZ Drive replaces the Disk Manager software. ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
