Well I fixed the internal fuse Neil described (thanks again) without any problems - my libretto 70 now runs from the power socket on the side as before. However my battery does not charge - could be it's been lying dormant too long, or a charging fault. The battery light show's amber until win95 is up - when it goes green. (If you leave machine off, or at bios/dos it stays amber) Can anyone enlighten me as to the battery connector pin out? (I can't find it anywhere) I've got the battery pack apart, and used a meter on that - and deduced what I can from the wiring, and I can measure on the libretto itself. So far this is what I know: What I termed pin 1is the small pin separated form the others by the key - ie the one on the left if you stand the machine on it's back end with the base and serial number facing you. Count right so pin 10 is the rightmost jumbo (wide) pin. Align the battery the same way. Pin voltages found on libretto. 1: Marked Vh (high?) on the battery - I assume this is output to the libby ? No volts here on Lib or Bty that I can find relative to pin 10 2: 0V relative to 10 3: 0V relative to 10 4 5V approx relative to 10 5 5V approx relative to 10 6 5V approx relative to 10 7 0V relative to 10 8 5V approx relative to 10 9 0V relative to 10 10 Ground for charging? There seems to be some sensing/floating voltages on some of the 0V, and the 5V is typically between 4.8 or 5.3 - I've not tried to get accurate readings on the meter.
