No idea, I only played with the 2498s because they *exactly* matched the 2503 specs. The rule of unintended consequences in concert with Murphy's Law and my bad luck pretty much guarantees a battery explosion if I try anything too ambitious. Konrad and I may have had the same idea, i.e. "testing" the Frankenstein-ian creation in a battery charger rather than a Libby. And outdoors, at that.
