I used TweakUI to good effect for the My Documents tweak on my previous Win'98 setup, but it didn't offer me any "Program Files" options... I think it will let you rename My Documents but not Program files. Please let me know if I'm wrong. >Is there something similar for Win2000 ? I dont know, but Im sure that >there is a lot of OS tweaking software out there somewhere. I've already downloaded TweakUI 1.31 (Win'98/...Win'2K - www.microsoft.com) but not installed it yet. So far: upgraded IE5 to IE6; installed SP2; Windows 2000 Security Rollup Package (January 2002); and an IR driver update. In Win'98 TweakUI wound up in the Program Files folder, so I was going to leave it until after I'd made the Program Files folder naming decision... --- >Nortons system utilities should work shouldnt it? No idea... what does it do? In any case, I don't have it - is it a must-have? Should I get it? _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------TO UNSUBSCRIBE------- Reply to any of the list messages.
