Heh ... at least you get a manual. I'm surprised Linux doesn't throw a fit ... last I
looked not even 'well known' combo cards like the 3COM XJack World Combo 10/100NIC and
56k modem card was supported under Linux.

If its anything like what I'm thinking of, the Bromax BIX520
(http://www.bromax.com/product%20list/pcmcia/bix520-l.htm) would do a similar job and
would probably be a bit cheaper (Bromax is part of Kingmax for those of you wondering
where that came from). Same no dongle but uses a bulge at the end. They should have a
CardBus version at some point in time too ... I'm using a Bromax 10/100 Cardbus card
in my L100 and a normal (16 bit) Bromax 10/100 card in my L50, both run very nicely
and work well under Linux (although the drivers that come with the Cardbus version
seem to use a rather dated version from Realtek so it throws a few complaints when it
compiles). I'd imagine similar things would be the case for the combo version, Bromax
seem to have actually put some effort into providing Linux support.

Actually, you can still feel the difference between 10Mbit and 100Mbit through a 16
bit PCMCIA card ...
