Just you! ;) Slow lens is a lens with a large aperture value when set wide open (when the lens lets in as much light as it can), eg. f/5.6. A fast lens is a lens with a small aperture value, eg. f/1.8. Depth of field improves as aperture values increase. eg. Shallow depth of field exists at f/1.8, lots/great depth of field exists at f/32. Thus, "lots of depth of field with slow lenses.." = a lens with a larger aperture value of let's say f/5.6 on a digicam = more depth of field vs. a lens with a smaller aperture value of let's say f/1.8. ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
