I am not sure what the differences are with the DVD-to-Go and the
MPEG-to-GO. I have the ( Margi ) Dell DVD-to-Go and it was once working but
I know not if it is the wrong video driver in W98 or the wrong player
WDM??? the other??? ) or what. Errors include pink screen and
MMSYSsomethiog errors. As you can tell I am remembering this poorly.

It DID work at one time in both W95 and W98. Occasional choppy audio, but
usable in a pinch. My theory was like yours, hey- have the DVD player, why
not!
