And my knowledge of XP is ZERO. But, if it were like Win9x you would change an unused Keyboard language choice that is available, like kbdcz.kbd ( Czech keyboard ) into kbdjp001.kbd and then select the "Czech" keyboard layout which would actually call up kbdjp001.kbd which has been renamed kbdcz.kbd and you would have the proper Japanese keyboard on your English Winders. Attached is the kbd file.
