If you can check a suitable lubricant with the manufacturer, do so. I've 
never been inside one of these beasties, and I don't know which of the many 
nylons they use. Many pro-audio CD players use a white grease rather than a 
thin lube - I think there is a danger of chemical reaction with the plastics 
if the wrong stuff is used. If David has had good results with his solution, 
you're probably best using it.
