Unscrew all of the bottom ones. top and bottom parts slip apart and you have the base unit to work on. a few screws will detach the laser & electronics from the base then, cut/peel the tape around the laser head metal shielding to remove that after unscrweing a few more screws. now, protective shielding comes off and you have full access to the laser head and drive rails. lubricate, rotate gear wheel by hand to get the head to move full travel a few times, clean off rails as needed. reassemble, then CDSpeed2000 a few runs through Random Seek times tests to get the lubricant everywhere. ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
