There certainly is. You can download a pdf (2.5MB) from my site at
www.nbarnes.easynet.co.uk/libretto/li50_70ct.pdf of the tech manual -
complete with nice pictures.

However - quick precis:
Remove battery and power;
remove seven screws from the bottom of the case (don't try and split it
yet);
turn it over and remove the keyboard trim strip (it lifts at the top right
of the keyboard);
remove screw at top centre of keyboard (you'll be getting a good collection
of screws at this time);
remove keyboard (two screws through silver thingy, plus a flat cable
connector - carefully push the retaining latch out about 1mm to release the
cable);
remove retaining screw and memory expansion if fitted;
remove silver thingy - two screws over processor heatsink;
remove screen connector;

and at this stage, if I haven't forgotten anything; you'll be able to split
the top and bottom of the case apart. Motherboard remains in bottom half,
battery is plugged in left hand side at the main battery end.

In the immortal words of the Haynes workshop manuals: reassembly is a
reversal of the above procedure... note that most of the screws are the same
as each other, but the ones that hold the silver thingy to the heatsink have
a wider shank than the others, and the one that holds the memory expansion
in has a wider flatter head. You could remove the disk if you feel nervous
about it.

Cheers,

Neil
