Just ask www.dynamism.com to see if they'll import some, or someone in the mailing list who's in Japan. But the things like this - at some point, you'll run out of RAM and the OS will start swapping to the HD. If you have a libretto that can take a bigger 20-60GB 9.5mm HD, then you actually see significatly improved performance vs. another libretto with just 32MB more RAM and a very slow, older HD. Thus, I'd pickup the L110, load it up with 64MB total, drop in one of the latest 40-60GB 9.5mm HDs (www.dealnews.com had the 40GB IBM for ~$150 I believe), buy some accessories. It won't be killer fast - it's just a 233mhz PC, but it does run Windows 98 really well for me for web surfing, editing, web page stuff, and so forth. Happy enough with it myself. -- Otherwise, look at the new Libretto L1-L5 series, the Fujitsu P1000/2000 series, and the Sony Picturebooks with faster 500+Mhz processors. ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
