Arrrggg... Does anyone have a fix for clicking on the A: drive access icon with no FDD inserted... and having to wait 4-5 minutes until Windows decides it can't find any FDD?
Have you installed the right drivers? When I accidentally click on A drive with no FDD inserted (or no FDD plugged in for that matter), mine comes back within about 10 seconds to tell me I've goofed ...

Alternatively, use TweakUI to hide the A drive (then access it when necessary by going start>run then type "a:\" or going into a command line prompt and typing "start a:").
