Yes, this problem is solved when you install the floppy driver which sets up, I beleive, fdcmon.vxd which lets the OS quit searching in vain for the missing floppy.
Okay... but I don't even see any FDD driver listed for the 100CT on the Toshiba website:

http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modItemList.jsp?ProductMenu_0=Portables&ProductMenu_1=Libretto&ProductMenu_2=1073769616&BV_SessionID=@;@@@1066793854.1035028021@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccchadcgiddmlmlcgfkceghdgngdgll.0&moid=1073769616&smoid=true&ct=DL&ListType=Model&x=31&y=8

For the L50, that file was part of the accessories zipped archive l50utils.exe on the Tosh website. Can we use that one somehow.?

I downloaded the "Toshiba Windows 95 Accessories for Libretto 100CT" file 100acsy.exe from that page. But there's no FDD drivers I can see in it, unless it's in one of the data files.

Another thing. I was looking at the sound drivers for to L100 on the Tosh site, and the only ones are for Win95. But the driver page for the L50 shows a Win98 sound driver package fot the 100CT!! So I wonder if the 1-2 minute wait I had for MusicMatch to load to play a portion of a MP3 I was downloading might be because the Win95 sound drivers might have been installed on this L100.

I wonder what other L100 W98 drivers are lurking in the wrong places on the Tosh site.

Thanks,

Matt
