Hey Raymond,

You must be sifting through older mail. At this point you've probably read the replies to my original post, and my one long reply to them.

Like I'd written, it seems the extra movement in the lid is doe more to the crack in the case at the left hinge than anything else. Maybe some day I can find a good deal on an old case. At this point, the screws seem to hold everything together reasonably well.

Pres and... was it Lee... had the best fix for the mouse button. Use one from the 50/70 models. Works like a champ! Don't know why Toshiba bothered to chance the design.

The ERP problem was solved on its own. I don't think the guy put the Lib in it when he set up the OS. It reloaded them for me, and is working fine now,and USB works fine.

You can follow the instructions at www.fixup.net to make a connector ...
Sounds good. David also posted a lot of good resources I've bookmarked.

> * Is it normal for the 100 screen not to be as bright as the 50/70?

Nope ... and in fact the L100 screen I have on LOWEST brightness is brighter than my old L50 with the screen on the HIGHEST setting. This is before applying any screen films.
See my older post for and explanation of what happened there. I may want to get the Tosh accessories drivers (is that right) to be able to adjust brightness.

I'd go reformat it and install it again ... you really want to run this thing with the proper drivers.
Yeah... David suggested this too. With all the little bugs that have cropped up, I think I'm going to do this, and save a ghost image. Esp. Ghost because I only have the Win98 full installation disk, and have to set that up before going through it all again with the SE upgrade.

Matt
