I've been using the rand Mcnally GPS with Delorme Street Atlas 7. Since I upgraded
to Windows 2000 I've noticed a great improvement in the GPS initialization time.

As far as software - I am waffling between SA 9 and SA 2003. I ain't so sure that
2003 is better, and the requirements seem high. TeleType (www.teletype.com) got my
interest when they were reviewed in PC magazine and compared favorably to in car
systems. I have not heard anything else about them.
