Dion,

I went through this with my L100, and experienced the same non-detection you
describe. It's a bit disconcerting, as the Libretto is supposed to be
Cardbus and ZV ready. The following procedure worked for me.

First copy the W98 .CAB files to a directory on your hard drive so that CD
access will not be required (once you change the PCMCIA slot mode, neither
slot will be functional, briefly.) Then, in either the BIOS (hold down Esc
key on boot) or in Settings>Control Panel>HW Setup>PC Card, change the
selection from PCIC Compatible to Auto-Select. Then boot (or reboot as the
case may be.) When Windows loads, it will ask for the W98 CD - point it to
the CAB files directory and ToPIC97 will be installed. Reboot, and ToPIC97
will be installed again, once for each PCMCIA slot.

Then repeat the above procedure, except select Cardbus instead of Auto
Select. This time, W98 will install ToPIC95 twice.

With these drivers loaded, the L100 will accept your Cardbus card.
