Ill sale a 70ct for $300. It looks new, not a scratch or mark other than a
small grayish spot where the "Intel inside" sticker rubbed the case a
little. I have both the docking station, and port expansion, two batteries
one is an extended life, Both work as new, the soft case, power supply, it
has Toshiba ram upgrade to 32mb, and Ill add in an Ethernet card. I do not
have the floppy drive for it. I've been playing around with it but I can't
add USB so its useless for what I got it for.
Mail me off list if anyone is interested. If not I'm putting it on E-bay.
Figured I'd give you guys a shot at it first.

Oh, something to look out for on the Librettos. The batteries crap out, the
screens wash out, and anything under a 110 you can't add USB to it. 30ct -
70ct have the older PCIMIA slot and can't drive a usb card. If price isn't
a big issue check out the new Sony machines same size with today's
technology and a built in camera.

Chris

Temperature changes will affect the oscillation rate of a crystal. Some
older two way radios had crystal ovens to keep them at a constant
temperature so the frequency wouldn't drift. I'm sure you'll find that
the time change varies with the amount of power up time.

I just started this group today. I'm looking at buying a 50ct at the
moment. Any tips good or bad as to what to watch out for?

Thanks.
Rick.

EeeHaaaww! Sounds sweet! I just can't figure out why my $2 flea market

watch can keep time more accurately than my L70! %$#&^%>!+ I set it one

week, and the next week it's off by 3-4-5 minutes sometimes....
sometimes
not.... can't figure out why. I thought crystals worked the kind of
accuracy magic that made the old springs obsolete. I wonder if my 70
has a
spring in there somewhere I've just missed poking around in there.

  MMMM_MMMM

And, oh yeah... ...Where >are< you these daze Raymond? ... Maybe he's
taken
Neil's lead and headed to Rio for a nice vacation and battle with jungle

fever. :-0
