Oh, for Europe, Autoroute (from Microsoft, just different name vs. Streets & Trips there) does fine if you're in major cities where they have street level coverage - outside those major cities, you've only got the highways covered, and it's a pretty big thing if you're into travelling into Eastern Europe or the countryside. In Japan, nothing from Microsoft can touch the ones they've got there. I don't remember the name, but there is one where they not only have complete DVD-ROM coverage of the entire country down to the street level, but also satellite imaged pictures of the exact same spot you're looking at which can be overlayed ontop of the maps, or displayed by themselves with dots locating various places of interest. Wish they had that for the US, would be nice to spot my house, but oh, well.... someday they'll have a live Sat pic link for us Libretto GPS users! (Actually wierd, too - be able to see yourself pacing back and forth in the back yard from above.) ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
