KDE? Of course not!! I don't even run it on my desktop pc, I don't like it at all... I'm running Enlightenment, and I also use text terminals quite often. It's running really fine. :-)

argh USB and DOS... I don't think it'll work... [;-)]
But you can still have a 1 or 2 foot floppy disk with linux kernel and
some basic programs that will support your usb CD [:-)]
Linux is great !! (I'm running Linux Mandrake 9 on my Lib50 32Mo RAM and
20GB HDD)


Bloody hell! I hope you're not trying to run kde on it then? The last Mandrake that was usable on the 50 (or 70) was imho 7.1 with IceWm.
