I can't believe that after a year of failing to get this CD-R/RW drive to write with my 70 and 100, it suddenly writes wonderfully with this setup!
I was browsing the new features of XP, and noticed a menu option in Windows Explorerto write to a CD-ROM drive. So for laughs, I stuck a blank CD-R disk in the HP, and tried writing a few little files to it. And (as my grandma would have said) land o' Goshin!! It >worked<!
I am soooooo stoked!
Writing more files was no problem either. So XP deals with sessions automatically.
