The HP M820E CD-RW works fine here under Windows 98SE. Just install the windows drivers for the unit, install Ahead Nero, and voila! works just fine on my L110. > Writing more files was no problem either. So XP deals with sessions > automatically. Well, for everyone who's not a power user, it's a great feature. Just about every CD-RW drive that it can see, can be written to simply by dragging and dropping new files to the drive folder. However, it's a Pain for power users because it interferes with some other CD burning software, and it doesn't have the full CD ripping, burning, disc format support, etc. of a full CD burn program - eg. VCD, SVCD, CD Extra, ISO ripping and writing, audio track extraction, etc. For this, simply right-click on the drive, bring up properties, go to the last tab, and turn off the CD burning feature for that drive to eliminate this problem forever. --- ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
