Don't even bother buying a battery off ebay except to get a used one for the
board and case parts. The cells, even if advertised as new, will be too old
to be much good plus you never know whether the battery will work. Either
plan on buying new cells or having the battery rebuilt with new cells. New
cells will give a good 4-5 hours of life if the 3000mAh pack from
www.photoengineering.com is used, or 3-4 hours of life if the standard
2400mAh pack is used even recording and playing MP3s with external speakers.
With a used or advertised as new battery from Ebay you will be lucky to get
over 3 hours after a using the battery for a while. The cells will be just
too old. I use my own cells (the 3000mAh) and consistantly get around 5
hours of use.

Hello,

You probably find new ones at ebay, I bought one, hi capacity, for US$ 20.
