Subject: Sony PCG-X505 - Flatten a Libretto, update it with carbon fibre shells, and
here's what you get

http://www.vaio.sony.co.jp/Products/PCG-X505/

Think Toshiba Libretto squished flat to 9.7mm thick (main body, 21mm rear
hinge), 10.4" screen added, same 2.5-4 hour battery life, 1Ghz P-M processor,
and a nice carbon fibre shell and this is what you'll get.

They took the entire motherboard and shrunk it down to the size of a Sony
MiniDisc, allowing for the super-thin system.

Too bad Toshiba hasn't released any new Librettos - I can imagine something
like the current L110/JVC Interlink XP series even thinner and lighter, but for
now, the JVC Interlink and the Sony X505 are the lightest, fastest choices in a
Libretto replacement (JVC - same size; Sony flatter, but thinner).
