My L110, win98se, 64MB, 20GB Hitachi 4200 rpm, Winamp 2.78, 128kbps MP3s, online through 3Com Combo Type III ethernet/modem card (blue) with download of virus scanner update at 28.8kbps connection, mozilla 1.5 running web browser and email windows at the same time, zone alarm 2.6.362 free, and not a hitch for dozens of minutes while downloading, surfing and playing MP3s at the same time. Winamp is configured to output through DirectSound output plugin (one of the two defaults included).
