Are you sure it is the BIOS that is the problem? That would surprise
me, as I recently fitted a large drive in an older (P3) Dell
Dimension.

Have you tried the Windows registry hack for LBA48 support that
Raymond mentioned earlier

I believe it would bypass the BIOS limitation (you may still need to
enable LBA48 support in Windows though). Take care which USB2
enclosure you buy though - some of them suffer from the same 137GB
limitation.
