Hi, I was also impressed by TomTom. The 3D and voice makes it safe to use without a passenger. The road ahead looks like on the screen. Sofar I used both MS autoroute or route66 for navigation. If a passenger looks at the libretto and gives voice directions this works very well and is safe. As a cardriver it is a complicated task to look at the screen, determine position and (speed dependant) relevant surrounding, rotate image and conclude wich direction you should drive to follow the planned/marked route. Looking for alternatives to TomTom I found Alturion GPS pro 5, A similar application (3D, moving/rotating map, voice) that runs on PocketPC AND on W2K/XP. system requirements further include(from www.alturion.com): 266Mhz Pentium mmx 64MB Video Card that supports MS DirectX 9.0 W2k should be possible but is DirectX9.0 a problem on a libretto 110CT?
