I'm running 98SE here with Mozilla and various other apps just fine on a L110. You may need 2000 for better stability, hibernation, driver compatibility, etc., but other than that, both can run years w/o a problem. Office 97 is the lightest version that's compatible with the latest 2003 releases. It's a smaller install than any of the later ones naturally, and you'll notice it'll perform better on 64MB RAM. Dual boot is always an option, and I do it here, too as well as many other people. But honestly, unless you want something like I have (98SE English + 98SE Japanese to sync with older Sharp MI-506DC and Franklin Rex Pro), then simply Win2000 will generally cover everything + multi-lingual capabilities quiet well. adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
