Right.
    On my laptop now and I can see that the SS1000 uses an unusual 6.35mm high
2.5" HD - you won't find a replacement for this on the open market most likely
because it was used in the Libretto SS1000 only as far as I know.

    You can get away with perhaps using a thin 2.5" flash memory disk...

As for the FF1100V, you can easily drop in anything up to the latest 160GB
9.5mm 2.5" HD.  It'll be fine and there's no issues there as many people in
Japan have already upgraded their HDs in the FF1100V to bigger ones.
