I'd love to have some anti-spam mechanism that works actually.  Deleting spam got old, I just never got around to implementing some sort of fix for that.

As Tom says, having a non-standard distrib implies using non-standard patch procedures each update.  Might not be tonnes of work, but it adds up over a year or so...

I'm pretty sure that the OCR is being defeated by the bots, but that's just a feeling, no hard evidence.

It would be cool if there was some way of handling spam that didnt involve security-by-obscurity, but I guess if that existed and was easy to figure out then someone would have done that already...
