EEK! A teaser post.
What's the startup's name, and why/how are you communicating with SL?

Although I've already jumped into a couple threads here... I haven't
introduced myself or explained why I'm here. So in the name of good mailing
list etiquette...here goes.

We are working on a startup, and part of our product line will include
web-based development tools for various media, Second Life being the prime
example. So until Linden opens things up (who knows how long that will
take), your work thus far is most interesting to us. We aim to contribute
back to the community where we can, but for now we're spending a lot of our
cycles on our own proprietary technology (mostly non-Second Life related)
and grokking your stuff in order to communicate with SL where important. I
guess I can't really explain in more detail just yet, and I'm just going to
be up front in saying that there will be some stuff we make which will not
be donated back to the community, but as I said we will do so where it makes
sense.

So anyway, our team is 5 strong right now, all part-timing it. We are close
to landing a seed round, at which time our involvement will be accelerated.
But "close", as we all know, could mean months.

So that's about it I guess. I am thoroughly impressed so far by you guys,
and especially the fact that every time I do an SVN Update, there is new
stuff. Someone is working on this every day it seems. Very cool.
