I tested libssh2 via libgcrypt, both RSA and DSA, with latest curl from CVS, and it worked fine as long as I make sure to remember to specify a username manually inside the URL. (Changing between RSA and DSA required editing of lib/ssh.c inside curl, though, in order to change the filename, but that isn't a libssh2 problem.)
