If I recall correctly, specifying the full path to a shared library worked with libtool-1.4, so this is probably a regression. As far as I can remember (not looking at the code here) ltmain.sh looks at the stuff in dependency_libs and checks if it exists as a file, and has always done so. I'll try to confirm these statements later :) Peter -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (Darwin) iQCVAwUBQ00HzLiDAg3OZTLPAQLFUQP/fP7cfOa6b5ly1HKNyyyYbXyyNN4jpKpO eHEpfHH3tPvwORbkmDezGNjiJLpbz4fk+ucnx7asBNSpJ/vwfYbdvg5nfEawUVk7 im9IZnW7O+bgZaBKrwP6eha2dTTN9paErOEv9aelyQS3gHTZodrGAu9sIvJ2xfmg mY5DfZkbRQU= =mXqW -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/libtool
