I think we should all respect Pete's decision with regard to
the participation in libusb-devel.

As for myself, even though I am listed as an admin of libusbx,
I am mainly on testing and supporting side since I can not code
properly (even if I come out with some patches, usually they
are trivial patches).

I will still be active in libusb-devel. I was trying to relay
some issues between the two lists before the announcement
of the fork.

I am glad that Peter Stuge has joined the libusbx
mailing list and start to send out technical discussions to
both lists. So he can actually integrate libusbx
patch back to libusb.git if he chooses to. Same for libusbx,
libusbx will still integrate libusb.git patches.

I think we all agree that Peter has done great
jobs on libusb.git codes. The main disagreement I have
is that his approach of release.

As for the current libusb mailing list users, you are
encouraged to subscribe to libusbx mailing list.

You do not need to take sides right now, you
can always wait a while to see whether libusbx is
better for you or libusb is better for you. Or you
can let the "market decide".

You can look at the libusbx roadmap here.

If you have some suggestions on the roadmap,
please send your suggestions through libusbx
mailing list.
