I just got time to install a Windows 8 virtual machine (using VirtualBox under Mac OS X), initial tests show that latest version of libusbx, libusb-win32, libusbK and Zadig all work well under Windows 8. I have also installed VS2012 and WDK8, MinGW and MinGW-w64, all seem to be okay. VirtualBox's video driver sucks though so I stick to fixed 1024 x 768 resolution for the virtual machine. I installed Classic Shell (open source) to avoid the Modern UI (aka Metro). http://classicshell.sourceforge.net/ As a side note, VirtualBox has a bug that USB will not work under Mac OS X if 2 processor or more are selected. I was hit by this bug and Google helped me to find the answer. https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/7462 -- Xiaofan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LogMeIn Rescue: Anywhere, Anytime Remote support for IT.
