Gentleman, sorry for not noticing this. I actually looked for anything in the "Files" section on sourceforge where I could see if the current libwww-perl source has my fix in it or not. I'm not very familiar with CVS (we use a different source control system here) so I never delved deep into the cvs access on sourceforge.
I think there is a point in this: you might want to make the sourceforge.net project pages more accessible. I had the hardest time _finding_ them in the first place: * http://www.linpro.no/lwp/ (first hit in google when looking for "libwww-perl") is confusing with too many links in no particular order * the 2 mailing list archives linked are obsolete * hit #2 http://www.ics.uci.edu/pub/websoft/libwww-perl/ is obsolete * the first real mailing list archive is on the second search results page, http:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ * the sourceforge pages look abandoned, without any files, only one developer, little activity in the "Patches" section etc. Of course I understand that cosmetic things are always less interesting than actual development and take time away from it. However, it makes it easier to attract new participants and helps take away noise like the one I made. Suggestions: * add daily cvs archive to the "Files" section. This also helps people without cvs installed (i.e. simple Windows installations) * in the "CVS" section, write down which <modulename>s are possible * make the correct mailing list link http://lists.perl.org/showlist.cgi?name=libwww much more prominent both on the sourceforge page as well as on the homepage * simplify & structure the homepage, make the sourceforge link and the mailing list link prominent Now of course you are saying I should do it myself. Unfortunately I have my own projects I'm maintaining and beside job, study and family this doesn't leave any time at all. Sorry.
