I have no idea about sourceforge. It should be trivial if you can run cron processes on some Unix webserver: each night get the current source with cvs, package it into a .tar.gz archive and publish on the webserver. Put an URL that links to this archive on the home page or somewhere. A simple shellscript and a bit of testing for permissions etc. > How can you edit that page? Dunno. You are the sourceforge project maintainer. Sorry. > The "Browse CVS Repository" link seems to > give the answer, but that requires some knowledge about CVS. Which was what threw me, of course. Users never, ever, read manuals or spend more than a few seconds figuring something out. If the visible area of a webpage (no scroll!) does not have the information they look for, its already over. > > * simplify & structure the homepage, make the sourceforge link and the > > mailing list link prominent > > Sounds like an effort. Not if you know a bit of HTML and don't do a total redesign, just update. I can send you an updated version of http://www.linpro.no/lwp/ this weekend, if you want. But I don't have time to maintain that. -- Hans Ecke hans<at>ecke.ws / hans<at>acoustics.mines.edu Department of Geophysics http://hans.ecke.ws Colorado School of Mines Tel: (USA) 303-273-3733 Golden, Colorado Fax: (USA) 303-273-3478 Climb the mountains and get their good tidings.
